Highlights
If you need the supernatural, there’s plenty of it here. Ghosts, zombies, dead humans, and lots of apparitions take place in a number of different locations. Some move about, some are close, and some are distant. You’ll find several versions of each scene: From “Full” (very busy, very Halloween) to “Subtle” (eerie, and probably the most scary), and in different settings (quiet, or with stormy, thundering weather). And the various versions are time-synchronised for easy editing – read more about that on the Designed Ambiences page.
You also get to visit a dark, moist dungeon, where men have been chained in shackles, screaming in pain, while water drips down around them.
About the package
This is a themed Add-on package intended to either upgrade the Mini to Full, or stand alone as a smaller version of the Designed Static Haunted & Horror 1 package. As with all MPAA packages you earn points for future discounts when purchasing the package. Points are accumulated in your account, if you created one.
About the content
All Ambiences in this package have been designed. That means they don’t each consist of one single recording. Instead, several recordings are blended and processed in numerous ways to create unreal, yet realistic, Ambiences of scenes it would be very difficult to record (!) in real life.
The 30 Ambiences of Designed Static Haunted & Horror 1 Add-on are ready to serve as the canvas of your production. You can add narration, dialogue and action on top of these backgrounds – or use them on their own to put the listener in the right mood for what’s coming next.
What you get in this collection are scenes, not individual sound effects. However, many scenes contain single sounds that can be isolated and used on their own. Try it. When you find the right sound, the result can be very effective.
